Paediatric First Aid: 2 Days

12 Learning hours:
This  2 day course is aimed at people who work within the early years foundation stage ( EYFS), such as; nursery workers & teachers.
The course provides knowledge & understanding on what to do in an emergency of illness or injury relating to a child in need of help.

  • Eye injuries.

  • Fractures including spinal & soft tissue injuries.

  • Stroke.
  • Hypothermia & hyperthermia.
  • Asthma, croup.
  • Diabetes
  • Meningitis & sickle anaemia.
  • Epilepsy/ febrile convulsions & sudden illness in children.
